Blair Tweddle graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1993 with an undergraduate degree in Anthropology. After graduating from university he worked full time as an advocate for people with mental health and developmental challenges. He also worked as a part time manager center for homeless adults. After several years working in the field of advocacy, he decided to embark on a teaching career. He completed a TEFL course and later accepted a job teaching English at TED Bursa (2004-2005) and then Antalya Koleji (2005-2006) . In 2006, he accepted a position as an English instructor at Yasar University and he currently works there as a lecturer in the Prep Class Department. Blair has also co-authored and edited three books related to ESL. In addition to this, he served as a member of the CEA steering committee. The committee played a vital role in Yasar University Prep Class Program receiving a 10 year accreditation from the CEA.
