Ekin van den Bekerom completed her undergraduate education in English Language and Literature in Ege University Faculty of Letters in 2013. After graduating from the undergraduate program, she had her SIT TESOL certificate through Yaşar University. Then, she started to work as an English instructor at Yaşar University. Between 2016-2022, she completed her duty in the Student Activities office in the Yaşar University Preparatory Class Programme. She still continues working as a full-time English language lecturer.
