Anıl Gelenler, born in 1986 in Ankara, Turkey, embarked on his musical journey by earning a full scholarship to Bilkent University's Faculty of Music and Performing Arts in 2003, where he was mentored by Prof. Kağan Korad. He further enriched his musical prowess through active participation in masterclasses conducted by distinguished guitarists such as Costas Cotsiolis, Tilman Hoppstock, Marco Socias, Srdjan Tosic, Liviu Georgescu, Bosko Radojkovic, Thomas Kirchhoff, Anelio Desiderio, and Roland Dyens. Anıl Gelenler's commitment to education and music is evident through his roles as a lecturer and academic coordinator at Bilkent University's Department of Classical Guitar from 2012 to 2016 and a lecturer at Karabuk University from 2016 to 2017. A testament to his artistry, the piece "Ate Breve" from Roland Dyens' album "Les 100 de Roland Dyens," featuring 100 new solo guitar works, was dedicated to Anıl Gelenler. He has made significant contributions to the music community by giving concerts and masterclasses at the international Guitar festival in Ankara known as "Turkey Guitar Meetings". His musical performances are marked by versatility, both as a soloist and within various chamber music ensembles. Notably, he recorded two pieces for the "Gitarla Buluşma" CD, published by "Cagsav Müzik." Anıl Gelenler successfully completed his MA studies at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Classical Guitar, in 2017 and embarked on his "Doctorate of Music" studies at Anadolu University State Conservatory in the same year and completed in 2024. At 2020, his talents reached out to Dubai Opera, where he participated as a musician in the "Broken Wings Musical" performances, organized by Theater Royal Haymarket Production. Anıl Gelenler continues to thrive in his active career as a performer and concurrently serves as a research assistant at Yasar University's Department of Music, located in İzmir.- Phone 0232-570 8780
