After completing her undergraduate education at Ege University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Bioengineering, she completed her Master's and Doctorate studies at Ege University, Institute of Science, Department of Biotechnology. During her doctoral education, she took part as a researcher at Wageningen University Food & Biobased Research Institute in the Netherlands with the support of COST Action (STSM-Short-Term Scientific Support) within the scope of SPLASH EU Research project and then at Hamburg-Harburg Technical University within the scope of TUBITAK project with the code 113M050. After her doctorate education, she worked at Ege University Respiratory Research Center as a PostDoc Researcher within the scope of the Presidency Strategy and Budget Directorate (Ministry of Development) Project for 2 years. In the academic years of 2019-2022, she started her academic career as a part-time lecturer at Yaşar University Vocational School Food Technology Program and Agriculture Faculty, she continues as a Head of Food Process Department in Food Technology Programme. She continues her research studies on the evaluation of plant/food raw materials rich in bioactive components using advanced green extraction technologies and their transformation into immune supporting functional products. Her expertise areas are biotechnology, microfluidics, novel fluidic technologies, extraction technologies, food process, functional foods, biomimetic microsystems, mathematical modeling and simulation.- Phone 0232-570 8648
