A. Haluk Nalbantoğlu received B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, in 1972; and later received M.Sc. degree in microwave theory in 1976 and Ph.D. degree in antenna theory in 1984, both from Middle East Technical University. Between 1972-1983, he worked in METU as research assistant and instructor for a total of five years; and in the remaining periods worked as an electrical engineer in ERA Elektronik Sanayi A.Ş. and RONA Makine Sanayi A.Ş. He joined ASELSAN Electronic Industries in 1983 and took the responsibility of developing Electronic Warfare capability and directing the EW programs. In 1996 he left ASELSAN and joined to STM A.Ş., where he worked till November 2002 as Consultant, Assistant General Manager and finally as General Manager. Between May 2003 and May 2005 he worked in Technology Development Foundation (TTGV) of Turkey as the Assistant Secretary General. Later he participated in EU programs, worked as a part-time consultant in defense companies and as part-time instructor in Başkent University.
