Margareth HÜNER - School of Foreign Languages - Teacher Educator/Trainer – English Teacher. Margareth Hüner has been working as an English Teacher and Teacher Educator at Yaşar since September 2019. As a teacher educator, Margareth runs workshops, develops projects and does training to teachers and to the administration of SoFL. She also works on a one-to-one basis with teachers, assisting them in their needs and aspirations. At the Preparatory Program, she also has teaching duties. Margareth continues her PhD studies in Applied Linguistics (Language and Cognition: Brain and language). She has an MA degree in Applied Linguistics with a focus on Phonetics and Phonology from the State University of Santa Catarina. She has a BA in Linguistics with a major in English Language Teaching and a minor in Translation Studies from the Catholic University of Sao Paulo. Margareth is a CELTA tutor and a certified Cambridge examiner. Margareth is also a material writer. One of her most important published work is Passages Teacher’s Manual for CUP with Jack C. Richards. Margareth has presented work in national and international conferences. Although her teaching experiences are mostly in the field of ELT, they are not confined to that. She has also taught ESL to refugees in different countries, and has taught Portuguese (in Turkey and abroad) as a foreign language.- Email margareth.huner@yasar.edu.tr
