Özge Bozkaya is a PhD candidate at the Department of European Union Studies, Dokuz Eylul University and a full-time research assistant at the Department of International Relations, Yasar University. She received her BSc in the Department of International Relations at Ege University and her MA in the Graduate School of Social Sciences’ Department of European Union Studies at Dokuz Eylül University. She spent eight months in Yerevan/Armenia as a volunteer of civil society organization within the context of Erasmus+ programme to conduct the field research of her master thesis titled “The Perception of Armenian University Students and Academics Who Are Living in Armenia on the Possible European Union Membership of Turkey”. In 2017, she was awarded the Council of Higher Education’s 100/2000 Doctoral scholarship in the sub field of migration studies. Currently, she conducts her doctoral research on the European Union’s policies within the framework of climate change-induced migration. Her major areas of interest are European studies, security in the South Caucasus, EU’s climate change and migration policies, Turkey-EU migration dialogue, climate change-induced migration, displaced persons and integration policies.- Phone 0232-570 8879
