Short CV

Özge Can received her undergraduate degree from the Department of Business Administration in Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Business, ranking the second highest place. Having been granted an achievement scholarship, she graduated from the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program at Sabancı University at the top of her class. She completed her doctoral degree (Ph.D) in Management at the same university. She started her academic studies at Yaşar University as an instructor in 2010 and was appointed as an Assistant Professor in 2013. She has also worked as a post-doctoral researcher at University of Antwerp in Belgium for one year (2014-2015). She still works as a full time faculty at Yaşar University, Faculty of Business. Organization Theory being her main research field, she has a particular interest in organizational identities and categorizations, emergence and change of organizational fields, institutional entrepreneurship and market-building activities.
