Short CV
Hi there all, I would like to give you “a quick tour” on my educational and professional background. After gaining an undergraduate degree in law at Istanbul University, I became a lawyer (non-practicing) registered at Istanbul Bar Association. Following a career change, I worked as a journalist in Turkish media as reporter and editor for 4 years. In pursuit of studying further, I moved to the UK in 2000. I completed the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) program at Goldsmiths University of London and awarded the diploma by Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL). My passion for languages and literature led me to start an MA in Modern German Language and Literature (Birkbeck University of London). While working as a professional translator/interpreter in Britain, I also completed a postgraduate program at Middlesex University and hold a PGcert for Interpreter Trainers. I worked as a visiting tutor at both University of London and Middlesex universities. I am a native Turkish speaker and fluent in English, German as well as Spanish.- Phone 0232-570 8834
