Cagri Ozkose-Biyik, is an assistant professor at the Department of English Language and Literature and coordinates the Innovative Teaching and Learning Unit at Yasar University. She earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction in 2010 and her master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in 2006 at University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY). She received her BA degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language Department at Bogazici University, Istanbul in 2003. Among her scholarly interests are language teacher education, professional development, reflective practice, and sociocultural approaches to language learning and teaching. Dr. Ozkose-Biyik coordinates a Marie Curie Career Integration Grant titled "The Revitalizing EFL Teachers’ Professional Development in Europe through Innovative Programs". Before she started working at Yasar University in 2012, she worked as a post-doctoral research associate in the Evaluation Consortium and taught educational psychology courses at SUNY, Albany.- Phone 0232-570 8842
